The Fund generates diversified returns, while conserving biodiversity, and supporting climate change adaptation and mitigation.
We achieve this by financing the adoption of more sustainable practices by companies in Latin America and Africa. We provide financing via financial institutions to ensure more businesses can access capital. We also invest directly in businesses that are committed to sustainability. Our funding base unites public and private investors through our blended finance structure.
In addition to financing, we support our investees with Advisory & Capacity Building services funded by a separate pool of sponsors.
We strongly believe economic development can be compatible with biodiversity conservation and the responsible use of natural resources. This is a fundamental pillar of our mission.
